Think of Jesus Christ

1. Faith is like a river, streaming life through us,
    When we’re feeling troubled, pray to Jesus Christ.
He is near to lift us far above earth’s strife,
    When the world’s so downcast, think of Jesus Christ.

He’ll use us to save souls if we trust in Him,
    When the world’s in trouble, think of Jesus Christ.

3. Troubles cause disease in body, mind and soul,
    Children, men and women, dead in sin as well.
If we pray to Jesus, He will pass us through
    All the troubles round us—think of Jesus Christ.

4. If the world was peaceful we would be so glad,
    But the only freedom comes from Christ alone.
If His peace flows through us to the world in need
    Then we’ll be a blessing—think of Jesus Christ.

5. Faith is like a river, streaming life through us,
    Famines are so near us—pray to Jesus Christ.
Jesus is our Doctor, healing comes from Him,
    Jesus Christ died for us—think of Jesus Christ.
