“They that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion,
which cannot be removed, but abideth forever.” Psalm 125:1
1. All they who trust the Lord shall be
As Zion’s mount which none can move
And which through all eternity
Endures, a symbol of His love.
2. As round about Jerusalem
The mountains circle, so the Lord
Forevermore surroundeth them
Who have His holy name adored.
3. The righteous shall not feel the rod
Of Him who dealeth weal and woe.
Give to the upright man, O God,
The choicest gifts Thou canst bestow.
4. The wicked, they who turn aside
And into crooked pathways fell,
Shall with the sons of night abide;
But peace shall be on Israel.
